• George & Alice Rohan established Rohan Swim Pools. A pioneer in the industry that focused on personalized service and quality products. Rohan Swim Pools was the 1st pool company in Orange County, New York.

• A new location on route 17M, New Hampton, NY is constructed where family members Jim and Sue join the business. At this time block wall pool construction is innovated by George Rohan.

• Jim and Sue take over the business offering new products such as portable spas and permacrete pools. The business is renamed Royal Pools and Spas.

• Royal Pools and Spas New Windsor location moves to 49 route 17k, Newburgh, NY. A full line of outdoor pools is installed and inside is an updated facility. The entire Royal Pools and Spas staff is Pool Tech Certified.
