Service Rate Schedule Forms

Whether you need assistance opening, cleaning, or closing your pool or hot tubs spas, Royal Pools & Spas service technicians can help. Please fill out the contact us form for details and costs of these services. To see some of our service projects click here.

 


Pool Opening

  1. Royal will remove your cover and strech it out to dry in an area designated by you.
  2. Reconnect and check your filter, pump, piping and fittings. (Note: water level needs to be at operating level in order to complete).
  3. Reconnect your ladder or handrail. (Entry Steps not included)
  4. Add initial shock / oxidizer to your swimming pool.
    • For pools on Baquacil ®: We will add 1 Gallon Baquacil Oxidizer ™ for each 10,000 gallons of pool water.
    • For pools on CHLORINE, BROMINE, SALT, NATURE2™ or IONIZER: We will add Liquid Chlorine Shock.

Contact us for Options Available:

  • Above Ground / Inground entry step re-installation.
  • Built in spa or Swim out with jets (inside the pool).
  • Reconnect gas, electric or solar heaters.
  • Clean, inspect and service heater (parts additional).
  • Reconnect any water features or Booster pumps (Ex: waterfalls, fountains, jet pumps).
  • Reconnect diving boards or slides.
  • Clean existing Salt Cells. (Salt cells should be cleaned annually)

 

Pool Cleaning

  1. Obtain water sample and analyze at our lab.
  2. Inspect Pool condition.
  3. Check filter pressure.
  4. Check for air in the filter / pump.
  5. Check water level
  6. Check for noise in filter / pump.
  7. Check for leaves / debris in filter / pump.
  8. Check all equipment (Slide, diving board, etc)
  9. Vacuuming of pool
  10. Cleaning of tile / water line.
  11. Brush walls
  12. Clean baskets, skimmers & pump.
  13. Backwash Sand / DE filter & recharge (DE) if needed.
  14. Add chemicals as need based on testing.
  15. Clean and tidy pool area.
  16. Close and secure gate.
  17. Aim the return fittings down and to the side for proper flow pattern.

Pool Closing

  1. Add winterizing chemicals to your pool, based on your pool's size.
    • For pools on Baquacil ®: We will add 1 Gallon Baquacil Oxidizer ™ for each 10,000 gallons of pool water.
    • For pools on CHLORINE, BROMINE, SALT, NATURE2™ or IONIZER: We will add Winter Pools Kit(s).
  2. Lower you water level below the skimmer. 
  3. Turn off the power. Disconenct filter, pump, plumbing & fittings.
  4. Blow out the suction and pressure lines. (Inground pools) 
    • This applies to all underground piping.
  5. Add non toxic antifreeze to the plumbing. (Inground pools) 
    • ​​​This applies to all underground piping.
  6. Disconnect ladder or handrails. (Drop in step not included)
  7. Put on your pools winter cover and winterizing accessories

  • Removal of Above Ground / Inground entry step unit.
  • Built in spa or Swim out with jets (inside the pool). For all other spas (freestanding), see spa closing.
  • Winterize gas, electric or solar heaters.
  • Winterize any water features or Booster pumps (Ex: waterfalls, fountains, jet pumps).
  • Disconnect diving boards or slides.
  • In-Shop Service for filter and/or pump.

 

 

 

Hot Tubs /Spas Opening

  1. ​​Open the front access panel to the spa
  2. Reinstall and plugs that were taken out of the spa & pumps.
  3. Reconnect any unions from the pumps or heater assemblies that were loosened and the time of closing.
  4. Fill the spa with your outside water source.
  5. Power on the spa to make sure everything is running properly with no leaks.

Recommended Service:

Perform an enzyme cleanse, drain and refill the spa. The enzyme cleanse will remove build up in the plumbing lines. This should be done annually and done on a seperate day.

 

Hot Tubs / Spas Cleaning

  1. Obtain water sample and analyze at our lab.
  2. Inspect Spa condition.
  3. Check for air in the filter / pump.
  4. Check water level
  5. Check for noise in filter / pump.
  6. Check for leaves / debris in filter
  7. Check all equipment
  8. Vacuuming of spa
  9. Cleaning of tile / water line.
  10. Brush walls
  11. Clean baskets & skimmers.
  12. Add chemicals as need based on testing.
  13. Clean and tidy hot tub / spa area.
  14. Close and secure gate.

*Weekly or One time cleanings available

 

 Hot Tubs / Spas Closing

  1. Turn off the power.
  2. Drain all water out of the spa.
  3. Wipe down the inside of the spa as it drains.
  4. Disconnect the pumps, piping, fittings & remove plugs.
  5. Blow out all the plumbing lines.
  6. Remove the filter cartridges & pillows and leave them for you to store.
  7. Add non toxic anti-freeze to the plumbing lines.
  8. Loosely reconnect the union. (they will need to be tightly reconnected when opening the spas.)
  9. Fasten the spa cover in place using the spas cover clips. (For completely free standing units, we can provide a tarp & shrink wrap the spa at an additional cost)
